3 . Prevention in dyeing production:
In the actual production, in order to prevent the occurrence of color files, the first is to strengthen the management of the quality of polyester fiber raw materials, and the weaving factory must use the remaining yarn to change the product. For the raw materials with poor quality, the disperse dye with good coverage can be selected to avoid the drop of the finished product in large quantities.
4 .Dispersion stability of disperse dyes:
The disperse dye is poured into water and then dispersed into fine particles. The particle size distribution is developed according to the binomial formula with an average value of 0.5 to 1 micron. The high quality commercial dyes are very close in size and have a high percentage, which can be indicated by the particle size distribution curve. Dyes with poor particle size distribution, with coarse particles of different sizes, also have poor dispersion stability. If the particle size greatly exceeds the average range, fine particle recrystallization may occur. As the recrystallized large particles increase, the dye precipitates and deposits on the walls of the dyeing machine or on the fibers.
In order to make the microfine particles of the dye a stable aqueous dispersion, the water should have a sufficient concentration of a boiling dye dispersant. The dye particles are surrounded by a dispersing agent so that the dyes are not brought close to each other to prevent aggregation or agglomeration. The charge repulsion of the anion contributes to the stability of the dispersion. Commonly used anionic dispersants include natural lignosulfonates or synthetic naphthalenesulfonic acid dispersants: other nonionic dispersants, mostly alkylphenol polyoxyethylene derivatives, which are dedicated to synthetic paste printing.
